We have been practicing lots, getting ready for our little performance next week.
We continue to work on our literacy centers, the students are becoming such great little readers. Thank you so much for your help and support with our Home Reading Program. A big thank you as well to everyone for returning your library book to school on Friday.
Our numeracy skills are also really developing. The students and I have been exploring a math program on our smartboard, it has been a fun and engaging way to review important math facts. We have also been exploring skip counting by 2's. I love that they are so excited and engaged in our math activities. In addition, they have become such a great community of learners. I was so impressed last week with how they are so supportive of each other. They are a great group of kids, I feel really lucky and blessed to be their teacher.
